"In the future everyone will be famous for 15 minutes."

One of the perks when I worked at MoMA was the opportunity to attend all the openings. They were usually (art) star-studded and pretty fabulous, but the most fun of all was definitely the opening for Andy Warhol: A Retrospective.

I wish I had kept some of the cow wallpaper, and not just because it's being sold on Ebay.

Wow what fantastic photos! I love you surrounded by the cow wallpaper. I remember that show! What year was that?

Makes me miss NYC a little and the nights of just wandering into great events as if it were the most natural thing in the world. On the other hand my little one is glued to my other computer watching a Backyardigan's episode for the hundredth time (she's a vampire and wakes up at night!) and I think hey this is pretty awesome nightlife too!

1989 (gulp) I think.

I know what you mean. My concept of nightlife has completely changed. Having dinner out is a huge treat. Cuddling on the couch together before bedtime is a must.
