It's our last night at Animal Kingdom. I'm really not at all about Mickey Mouse & Co. I don't dislike the characters, I just don't get the obsessive love. Or the desire to wear mouse ears. So this place is perfect for me.


I love wildlife, zoos, and aquaria, so having these wonderful animals right outside our window is more than a treat. Zebras, giraffes, antelopes, crowned cranes are an exotic treat. There are plenty of bunnies and ducks, too,


We even went on "safari" this afternoon and saw a five-week old baby elephant, I've never seen such a small elephant, and yes, it was adorable. Tomorrow we set off for home, but I have no doubt this is just the start of the adventure . . .
